The Apprentice star has shocked fans in recent months with her toned figure

Baroness Karren Brady has firmly rejected speculation that she used weight loss injections to achieve her slimmer physique, insisting her transformation resulted from traditional methods of healthy eating and regular workouts.

The 56-year-old The Apprentice star spoke out against what she views as inappropriate scrutiny of women's bodies.

She told The Sun: "I'm not on Ozempic, but questions about women's weight come up far more often than they should. I'd much prefer the conversation to be focused around my work."

The businesswoman argued that commentary on female figures serves to undermine women's confidence.

She said: "I think the way people talk about women's bodies is certainly an effort to belittle them or make them feel insecure."

The West Ham United Vice-Chairman maintained that any choices about one's own body should remain personal, regardless of public assumptions, and emphasised that her ultimate goal extends beyond physical appearance.

"All I want is to feel strong, physically and mentally...I've been called too fat, too thin, and everything in between. I've had a lifetime of it," Ms Brady added.

The mother-of-two maintains a rigorous exercise schedule despite her demanding professional commitments.

She visits the gym three to four times weekly, though she avoids fixed days due to her various responsibilities.

The businesswoman regularly shares workout content on Instagram from her local David Lloyd gym and has previously acknowledged shedding approximately five kilograms ahead of each new series of The Apprentice.

"I haven't joined [the Ozempic Club] - bloody hard work. It is okay losing it, it is keeping it off," she said.

Ms Brady does not monitor her progress on the scales but notices the difference in how her clothes fit.

"I have lost quite a bit - I don't know, though, as I don't weigh myself. I feel better for it. It is good because everything you put on fits," she remarked.

Ms Brady spoke warmly about the joy her grandchildren bring to her life, despite the physical demands of keeping pace with young children, and she revealed that becoming a grandmother sparked her commitment to improving her health and fitness.

"I just love spending time with them," she said of Leo and George. "My daughter's got her hands full, as you can imagine. But being a grandparent is a deeply rewarding role."

The television star went on to describe the unique happiness that comes with her role as a grandmother.

She said: "Grandchildren bring an unfiltered happiness and laughter into your life. You can spoil them, treat them, pamper them."

However, Ms Brady acknowledged the stamina required when caring for little ones.

"It's hard work, though you do need a lot of energy, because you forget how kids don't sit still for two minutes. You need eyes in the back of your head. It's wonderful, though," she added.

Several UK celebrities have denied using Ozempic or similar weight-loss jabs (semaglutide) following speculation about their weight loss, often citing diet, exercise, or lifestyle changes instead.

In late 2024, the TV presenter and This Morning host, Alison Hammond, clarified that she did not use weight-loss jabs, explaining she shed 11 stone through a personal trainer, diet overhaul, and increased exercise after being diagnosed as pre-diabetic.

Furthermore, Shaughna Phillips, the former Love Island star, denied using weight-loss injections, stating she achieved her weight loss through hard work rather than a "quick fix" she told The Sun.
