The television presenter recently returned to work in front of the camera

Jonnie Irwin has taken to Instagram to prove his terminal cancer diagnosis isn't stopping him from enjoying quality time with his family.

The A Place in the Sun fan-favourite was all smiles in his latest update on a day out with his three young children.

Rex, four, and Irwin's two-year-old twins Rafa and Cormac joined their dad for his latest post.

The trio sat in a small carriage attached to the front of Irwin's all new electric bike which is helping him get out and about with his family.

Praising the newfound ability to explore since getting the bike, Irwin penned: "Since delivery of our @babboe_cargobike it’s been out most days.

"I’m obviously a lot weaker these days and would never be strong enough to cart these ankle biters around but with electric power assistance I can pretty much go anywhere."

Jonnie recently appeared on Morning Live to discuss his palliative care experience

Irwin has been regularly updating his followers with the renovations he's making at his family home in Newcastle as well to ensure he, wife Jess and the kids can enjoy the home in its full potential.

However, Irwin has also been spending time away from the house and palliative care after returning to work last week.

Irwin shared a few behind the scenes shots from a shoot for company Mayfair Worktops - for whom he serves as a brand ambassador for.

And on Friday, Irwin was all smiles as he confirmed he'd "wrapped" up filming on the project he'd filmed for the company.

Irwin was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2020 and when he went public with the news in 2022, he revealed the terminal disease had spread to his brain.
