Jonnie Irwin praised for 'brilliant idea' as he unveils sweet change to home life: 'The boys loved it'

Jonnie Irwin has been showered with compliments following his latest update from his house.
The presenter hasn't let his cancer diagnosis stop him from being hard at work at home as he's regularly shared updates on the renovations he's undertaking to make the most out of the space for himself and his family.
The latest "transformation" came in the form of a one-off change he made to one of the rooms at his home so he could enjoy quality time with his three children.
In a series of snaps from home, Irwin was joined by three sons Rex, Rafa, and Cormac in the newly renovated garden room.
But despite only overhauling it earlier this summer, for one night only, Irwin "transformed it to a jungle".
He explained alongside a series of sweet snaps with his boys: "Got in to find my garden doom had been transformed to a jungle!

"Full camp was set up with tents and sensory toys and objects." he continued.
"Needless to say, we didn’t get to sleep til late. The boys loved it.
"All set up and taken away the next day. Thanks very much @darkskysleepovers," he concluded as he mentioned the company used for the overhaul.
In the snaps, Irwin and his sons played with an array of soft toys and experienced shows on the big screen in the room.
Inevitably, it didn't take long for fans to praise Irwin for the change to his home in order to enjoy family time with his boys.
One fan praised: "That’s the coolest thing @jonnieirwintv you da best ( obvs mummy too) huge hugs to you all xxx."
While a second echoed: "Such a brilliant idea for kids’ parties / sleepovers. So much joy."
Meanwhile, another added: "Aww how wonderful that must have been. You are an amazing dad to your boys jonnie.

Earlier in the summer, Irwin revealed he'd overhauled the room by installing a bespoke giant window in order to soak in the views from his garden.
He's been spending more time at home with his children after being diagnosed with terminal cancer back in 2020.
After the disease spread from his lung to his brain, Irwin went public with the news in late-2022.
