American Author Chadwick Moore has hit out at Jimmy Kimmel for "worshiping woke" after hosting the Oscars on Sunday night.
The TV host and comedian hosted the most important night for film on the awards season calendar, taking to the stage for the fourth time in his career.
56-year-old Kimmel has also hosted his own late-night talk show for over 20 years, 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'.
In a discussion with GBN America, the New York Times best-selling author of 'Tucker' said the ratings for the Oscars has been "plummeting for several years" and the progressively more "woke" Academy has had an impact.

When talking about the biggest winner of the night, Oppenheimer, which took home seven awards, Moore said Nolan's film "passed the test" of the "woke" academy, even though it was a "movie about straight white people made by straight white people".
Moore added: "I'm not sure how that squeaked through the test this year, but then again, you know, nobody really knows what's going on."
In discussion with GBN America host Mark Dolan, Moore was asked if the task of hosting the Oscars is "impossible" for comedians such as Kimmel as the woke mob grows.
Moore claimed that Kimmel is one of the comedians of the 90s and early 2000s who has done "a lot of things that would get him cancelled today".

Moore noted: "He appeared in blackface, he was on a show called The Man Show, which was resoundingly misogynistic, especially by today's standards."

Moore continued: "But people like that were smart enough to know they really had to worship at the altar of woke.
"They really had to eviscerate themselves if they wanted to survive and not have those old clips resurfaced. So Jimmy Kimmel is a really good example of that.
"He cries on television because he's upset that Donald Trump said something mean, and he's being rewarded for it. He's being rewarded for his loyalty to the machine, to wokeism, to these sort of corporate globalist ideals that Hollywood really pushes out there."
Moore also took a swipe at Kimmel's talk show, adding: "I don't really know anyone who watches his late night talk show."

Discussing previous hosts of award shows, Moore recalled Ricky Gervais's memorable speeches at the Golden Globes, which shook Hollywood stars and left them speechless at his crass and often dark humour.
Moore explained: "It's not about who's funny. Don't forget, not too long ago, Ricky Gervais hosted the Golden Globes. And it was probably the most funniest thing that's been on the Golden Globes in a while.
"And he spent the time mocking Hollywood. But I don't think Hollywood is going to go back to that. I think a lot of those Beverly Hills actors were very offended."
