The former Made in Chelsea couple shared the exciting news on Tuesday morning through a joint Instagram video post showing Habboo having an ultrasound scan.

The announcement video shows Habboo with her jaw on the floor, staring at the screen and listening to the heartbeat.

The couple shared the clip with a heart emoji, prompting an immediate flood of congratulations from followers and celebrity friends.

The couple's relationship began as friends before developing into romance in 2019, with moments captured on E4's Made In Chelsea.

Laing was one of the original cast members in the second season alongside Spencer Matthews, Millie Mackintosh, and Louise Thompson, whilst Habboo joined the show in the 14th series.

The pair tied the knot in 2023 at Chelsea Town Hall before celebrating with a lavish bash in Marbella, Spain, surrounded by friends and family.

They have been married for two years and recently announced that Habboo will be joining Laing on his BBC Radio 1 show Going Home as co-presenter whilst Vick Hope takes maternity leave.

Celebrity friends were quick to congratulate the couple on their pregnancy announcement.

Comedian Katherine Ryan joked that the baby "looks like Jamie", whilst Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague sent her congratulations to the expectant parents.

In the ultrasound video, Habboo, 30, can be seen smiling at Laing, who asked how she was feeling and said "Oh my god" during the emotional moment.

Laing, 36, appeared visibly moved as he watched the scan, with the camera capturing his wife's stunned reaction as she listened to their baby's heartbeat for the first time.

The couple have built a successful professional partnership alongside their personal relationship.

They previously launched the NearlyWeds podcast, which later became NewlyWeds, helping to pave the way for Laing's current position as a BBC Radio 1 presenter.
