ITV has defended Adam Thomas after allegations emerged he attempted to kick Jimmy Bullard during their heated confrontation on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! South Africa.
A spokesman the broadcaster told the Daily Mirror: "This is categorically not true. Adam did not try to kick Jimmy."
The denial comes after evicted contestants Sinitta and David Haye claimed Mr Thomas used offensive language towards Mr Bullard in footage that was not broadcast on Tuesday evening's programme.
While the Emmerdale star was visibly furious and struck a door in the trial area, this was allegedly "nowhere near" his fellow campmate and was included in the televised episode.

The clash erupted during Tuesday's episode when Mr Thomas and Mr Bullard were paired together for a Bushtucker trial.
Tensions escalated after hosts Ant and Dec announced the final two contestants to complete the gruelling challenge would face immediate elimination.
The Emmerdale actor threw himself into the task, but his partner opted to withdraw entirely

Enraged by Mr Bullard's decision, Mr Thomas labelled the former footballer a "prick" and demanded: "What is up with you? Tell me why? All you had to do was run through some f****** mud and you said get me out of here."
The scenes, recorded in September, ultimately led to Mr Bullard's departure from the competition.
Mr Thomas, who suffers from psoriatic arthritis, was permitted to remain following a vote among his fellow campmates.
According to the insider, Mr Thomas "completely lost it and went for Jimmy. He called him a c***, and Jimmy believes that he tried to kick him, too".

David Haye has been accused of bullying Adam Thomas
| GB NEWSThe source described the incident as "shocking", claiming Mr Bullard viewed Mr Thomas's behaviour as "vile, vicious and violent".
They alleged much of the altercation was edited out of the broadcast, so viewers did not see the full extent of what occurred.
"Jimmy is devastated by it all. It was supposed to be a celebration of I'm A Celeb, but Adam appeared to have let his temper get the better of him," the source added.
"It spoilt what should have been a wonderful experience for the whole line-up."
Sinitta later addressed the altercation in a video, suggesting viewers only saw part of what transpired.
Describing the "massive fight", she recalled: "There was a big argument, I can hear c-word, c-word, shouting c-word, you c-word. What on earth is going on?"
The singer questioned why nobody intervened and expressed sympathy for Mr Bullard's situation.

| ITVShe revealed the former footballer had confided in her about his father being seriously unwell, leaving him feeling guilty about being away from home.
"His head was gone; it was time for him to go," Ms Sinitta said, noting Mr Bullard had already been struggling emotionally following Gemma Collins's earlier departure from the camp, having formed a close bond with her during their original jungle stint together.
