Soap actress Paula Lane and her husband Tom Shaw have become parents for the third time after welcoming a baby boy they've decided to name Patrick.
The 39-year-old, renowned for her roles in both Coronation Street and Emmerdale, shared the joyful news with followers on Instagram on Wednesday.
Patrick joins older siblings Arthur, aged 11, and nine-year-old Penny, making the couple a family of five.
Announcing the arrival, Ms Lane wrote: "Welcome to the ranch Patrick we are all completely and utterly in love.

"So longed for...thank you for completing us," the actress signed off.
She accompanied her message with a blue heart, four-leaf clover and rainbow emoji, nodding to the Irish connection of her son's name.
The Instagram post featured a series of heartwarming photographs documenting the family's newest addition.
One image showed Ms Lane gazing lovingly at her newborn son, who was wrapped snugly in a white winter coat with a pale blue knitted hat visible.

Another touching snap captured the family's black Labrador lying beside a pair of tiny baby boots.
Mr Shaw, also 39, appeared in one photograph beaming proudly whilst cradling Patrick in one arm, with a bottle of whisky in the other hand.
The celebratory drink was aptly named Paddy, a fitting choice given their son's name.
The couple, who tied the knot at Leeds Cathedral in May 2014, first met as teenagers at Huddersfield Technical College.

Laura Norton, who plays Kerry Wyatt in the same Yorkshire-based drama, added: "Amazing congrats beautiful."
Former Coronation Street colleague Catherine Tyldesley, known for her role as Eva Price, wrote: "Awwww babe!!! Huge congratulations love you xxx."

Samia Longchambon, who plays Maria Connor on the cobbles, commented: "Congratulations Paula! Beautiful news xxx."
Melissa Johns from Coronation Street also offered her well wishes, writing: "Congratulations lovely one!! Enjoy the wintery snuggles." (sic)
Ms Lane first rose to prominence on Coronation Street, where she portrayed Kylie Platt from 2010 until the character's dramatic death in 2016, when Kylie was fatally stabbed outside a kebab shop by Clayton Hibbs.
Following her departure from Weatherfield, she appeared in Call the Midwife and toured with the stage production of Kinky Boots.
The actress returned to soapland in 2024, joining Emmerdale as Ella Forster, a role she held until her exit in December of that year.
Five months after leaving the Dales, Ms Lane revealed in August 2025 that she was expecting her third child, sharing a photograph of her baby scan positioned between cards announcing the news to Arthur and Penny.
