ITV's celebrity edition of Deal or No Deal has sparked fierce criticism from viewers after comedian Alex Brooker received what many considered insultingly low offers whilst playing for charity.
The 41-year-old appeared on the programme to raise money for Unicef ahead of his participation in Soccer Aid next weekend.
Brooker was supported by close friends and family members during the show, which aired on Saturday evening.
Celebrity guests including former England footballer Jill Scott, actor Emmett J Scanlan, property expert Scarlette Douglas and Gladiators star Livi Sheldon, known as Diamond, also joined him in the studio alongside presenter Stephen Mulhern.

Viewers expressed outrage that such modest sums were being offered when the money would go directly to Unicef.

"Even for charity these offers have been utter crap!," a third viewer echoed, whilst someone else directed their fury at the banker: "£2,460?! F**k off Banker, it's for charity you tight-a***! #DealOrNoDeal."
