ITV is poised to launch a brand-new channel on Freeview and Freely on June 9, 2025.
Dubbed ITV Quiz, the new free-to-air channel will replace ITVBe on Freeview Channel 28 and Freely Channel 22. Your Freeview TV might continue to display the channel as ITVBe until you retune your device, which updates the channel listings. It's also coming to paid-TV platforms, including Sky Stream, Sky Glass, Sky Q, Virgin Media TV, and EE TV.
As the name suggests, ITV Quiz will broadcast quiz and games shows from 9am until 1am every day. It's the second dedicated television channels focused on quizzes and gameshow, following in the footsteps of Challenge.
ITV Quiz will broadcast a slew of popular quiz and gameshow from ITV ...with one key exception
ITV STUDIOS
ITV Quiz will air a rotating selection of many of ITV's best-known modern quiz shows, including Wheel of Fortune, Tipping Point, Lingo, and Deal or No Deal to name just a few.
However, there's one notable absence from the line-up. Popular quiz showThe Chase, hosted by Bradley Walsh and a staple of the daytime ITV schedule since 2009, will not appear on the new channel.
That's because of a previous licensing deal struck by the broadcaster, which sees rival quiz channel Challenge continue to broadcast episodes each weeknight from 8pm.
The all-new ITV Quiz channel will be available:
- Freeview | Channel 28
- Sky Q | Channel 131
- Sky Stream | Channel 125
- Sky Glass TV | Channel 125
- Virgin Media | Channel 119
- Freesat | Channel 119
- Freely | Channel 22
- Available to stream on ITVX
ITV Quiz is available in HD on all platforms, except Freeview.Tune-in on Monday June 9 and you'll be able to watch Adil Ray's Lingo at 9am, followed by a Tipping Point double-bill with Ben Shephard.
Graham Norton makes his debut as host of the revived Wheel of Fortune at 2pm, which features appearances from celebrities AJ Odudu, Gok Wan, and Charlotte Church.
Stephen Mulhern presents the first episode of ITV's Deal or No Deal reboot at 5pm, with a second episode at 8pm. The primetime schedule includes a celebrity edition of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? at 9pm, with Jeremy Clarkson welcoming Stephen Fry and Jeanette Kwakye. Other familiar faces include Warwick Davis hosting Tenable, while the channel continues broadcasting until 1am before switching to teleshopping overnight.
The launch of ITV Quiz will have a ripple effect for ITV2. It has confirmed plans to cull one hour of gameshows from its schedule, reducing this popular genre from three hours down to two. It plans to continue broadcasting a double-bill of Celebrity Catchphrase and Deal or No Deal from 6-8pm.

If you're a fan of older quiz shows, Challenge continues to showcase ITV's classic programmes including Bullseye and Vernon Kay-era All Star Family Fortunes, alongside The Chase. U&W will also continue showing older episodes of Tipping Point, though not during the hours when it airs on ITV Quiz.
U&W was one of a number of new channels, including U&Dave, U&Drama, and U&Yesterday, that were added to the Freely platform in an update in recent months.
