He is the fourth star to be eliminated from the show

Nick Pickard has revealed who he wants to be crowned King of the Jungle following his eviction as Nigel Farage survives to see another a day in the jungle.

Pickard, best known for his role as Tony in Hollyoaks, revealed to Ant and Dec during his exit interview who he was backing to win the competition.

Quizzed by Dec on who he wants to win, Pickard responded: "I think I want Sam [Thompson] to win.

"Only because he deserves it, that’s the only reason. They all deserve it.

"He wants to as well. He has been the lifeblood of that camp, if he wasn’t there…

Pickard could not stop singing Thompson's praises. "He’s just brilliant," he gushed to the Geordie duo.

The Hollyoaks star is the fourth campmate to be eliminated from the jungle.

Prior to his elimination, Fred Siriex, Nella Rose and Frankie Dettori fell victim to the public vote.

Jamie Lynn Spears and Grace Dent left the series earlier on medical grounds.

Previous eliminated campmates made their feelings on Farage clear as they left.

Yesterday, when asked about his relationship with Farage, Sirieix opened up to Ant and Dec.

Ant asked: "You connected personally, but clashed politically, has anything changed your views?"

"No. It hasn’t. It was great in the camp because Nigel is a doer, we could work together, we can collect wood and water.

"There is a side to Nigel Farage that I can’t connect with and I never will connect with.

Questioned by Dec as to whether Farage has "brought him round to his way of thinking", Sirieix emphatically responded: "No. Not one bit."

On Monday night, after Rose's elimination, she sang Nigel's praises, saying that the pair got on a "lot".

She said: "I think Nigel is a great person."

Rose continued: "Until he speaks about what he really believes in, and I just think, ‘you’re a cool guy but why do you think like that?’ It’s a sticky one."
