Harriet Cowan has spoken out for the first time about the new series of Clarkson's Farm, addressing one moment, in particular, she worried looked "fake".
The farmhand and nurse was introduced to Clarkson's Farm fans in the season four premiere after joining the Diddly Squat crew to fill the void left by Kaleb Cooper.
Cooper, who has become a household name thanks to Amazon's hit show, was absent from the first two episodes of the latest series due to the fact he was off embarking on his own stage tour while filming took place.
Clarkson, 65, whose blend of incompetence and dry wit has provided the basis for the series so far, soon realised he needed help keeping the farm afloat without Cooper, hence Cowan's introduction.

Cowan arrived at Diddly Squat for a meeting with Clarkson in his office where hilarity soon ensued.
"This is so good, so you can come and give me a hand? Charlie [Ireland] says you're from a farm, is it your mum and dad's farm?" Clarkson asked Cowan during their first meeting.

Harriet Cowan’s arrival injected a fresh perspective into Diddly Squat
INSTAGRAM"It was my granddad's farm and now my dad has it, yeah," Cowan replied, to which Clarkson gestured towards the crew off-camera and said: "I should explain, you've seen Clarkson's Farm?"
"Yeah..." Cowan sheepishly replied before conceding: "No. Well, you know on YouTube you get those 'shorts' where it's like funny moments, I've seen them.

"I ain't got time to watch all that," she added, to which Clarkson explained: "Anyway, we've got this guy called Kaleb. Kaleb is the farm manager and now he's gone off to be Julian Clary or Lenny Henry - do you know who Julian Clary is? Or Lenny Henry?"
"He's the bed man. Lenny Henry, he does the bed advert, don't he?" a confused Cowan hilariously replied, prompting a back and forth with Clarkson about the comedian's TV work.

Eventually, Clarkson admitted he was struggling with "everything" and didn't "trust myself to do the barley".
Soon after, Cowan threw herself into the thick of the action, surprising Clarkson and land agent Ireland with her skills and expertise on the farm.
However, speaking about her first scene on the show, Cowan admitted she thought it came across as "fake".
Keen to set the record straight, though, Cowan insisted she had indeed never watched the show before starring alongside Clarkson and co.
Speaking to Clarkson's eldest daughter Emily on her podcast Should I Delete That?, Cowan was asked about her life in farming and juggling it with her personal life.
"Do you ever sit down with your boyfriend and chill together, or eat together? It sounds impossible," the young farmer was asked.
Cowan replied: "No, no. In the trailer where it's like, 'Have you watched Clarkson's Farm before?' And I'm like, 'No', it looked so fake!
"But it is so real because we don't watch telly. Literally if we watch something, James will sit down, his head will hit the back of the sofa and he's asleep because the second he can rest, he'll sleep, because he's so tired all the time."

Sadly for Cowan's newfound fans, she ended up leaving the show in the third episode once Cooper had returned from tour.
However, discussing Cowan's impact on the show in an interview prior to the fourth season's release, Clarkson paid tribute to the farmhand.
He revealed she would be his first contact if he ever should need a helping hand on the farm again.
