Loose Women presenter Jane Moore has come to Gordon Ramsay's defence following allegations that the celebrity chef considers Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty's family "beneath" his social standing.
The television personality dismissed suggestions that class snobbery lies behind the bitter dispute between the Ramsay and Peaty families ahead of Holly Ramsay's wedding to the three-time Olympic gold medallist.
Writing in her column, Ms Moore drew on years of personal experience with the fiery chef, insisting he has never displayed snobbish tendencies.
She recounted occasions when her former husband worked closely with Mr Ramsay, describing regular social gatherings with the chef and his wife, Tana.
