"But as we all know, cancer doesn't discriminate. It doesn't care where you're from, how you live, or how healthy you try to be."

He urged supporters to contribute whatever they could, promising to share updates on his mother's progress throughout her treatment journey.

She added that she believed sharing her experience could prove valuable, noting that statistics suggest one in two people will develop some form of cancer. "Wish me luck, Onwards and upwards Homies," she concluded.
Ms Best, who was born in Essex and worked as a fitness instructor, model and Playboy Bunny, first encountered the Manchester United and Northern Ireland football legend at a dinner party in Los Angeles in 1975. George was in the city to sign for the Los Angeles Aztecs at the time.
The couple's romance quickly attracted attention on both sides of the Atlantic. They relocated to London in 1976, though Angie later returned to America. George followed her and proposed, with the pair marrying on January 24, 1978.
Their son arrived in 1981, but the marriage did not last. The couple separated in 1982 and finalised their divorce four years later in 1986, following George's struggles with alcohol addiction and domestic violence.
