The Hollywood actress has addressed the online controversy she received about starring in a sex scene with another woman which her son – Damian Hurley – directed.
Hurley’s lead character - Lily - in the upcoming film, Strictly Confidential, finds herself draw to the world of seduction, duplicity and betrayal as she desperately tried to uncover the mystery surrounding her best friends suicide.
In the trailer, Hurley’s character can be seen on a terrace when her love interest Natasha (played by Pear Chiravara) approaches her.
The pair share a passionate make-out session, but things soon intensify when Hurley’s character throws her head back with pleasure and the pair get lost in the throws of passion.
When the trailer was released, it garnered a storm of response on social media, especially when viewers soon realised that it was Hurley’s son who directed the scene.
One fan commented on X: “So, Damian directed his mom in a lesbian scene? That’s gonna be something to talk about at Christmas dinner.”

Another added: “Not sure how I feel about knowing Elizabeth Hurley’s son watched his mother get down and dirty with another woman… to then yell cut and restart the scene again!” (sic)
Hurley has since hit back at the backlash and said during an interview with Access Hollywood: “The things that his script needed me to do weren’t necessarily things I’d always done in movies many times.
“But having him there meant that I felt safe and looked after, and I knew in (post-production) he’d look after me.
“So, actually, it’s kind of liberating to work with your family. I may do it again.”

Hurley wasn’t the only one who commented on the hard work of the cast and crew, with her son paying a small tribute to his mother during a recent Instagram post.
He explained: “Showbusiness has been a fundamental part of my entire life. So to us, it’s not a thing. She takes my photos, I take hers.”
“Everyone involved deserves public declarations of adoration (all of which will come in due course) but right now I want to worship @ElizabethHurley1.
“During the making of my first ever short film back in 2010 (when I was 8) promised me she’d be in my first feature.
