Eamonn Holmes has received a flood of support after sharing his health woes this week, giving an explanation as to why he was absent from his GB News morning show.
Eamonn, 66, shared a post on X, formerly Twitter, detailing he has suffered a couple of "awful days".
On Wednesday, he penned on the social media app: "Awful days yesterday and this morning. Really heavy cold. Can’t stop sneezing. No energy."
He ended the tweet with a series of emojis indicating sadness and sickness.

One sympathised: "Oh bless you, get well soon Eamonn!"
"I'm just after a long flu - was awful - make sure you are drugged up every four hours Eamonn," a second advised.
Another reassured the presenter, sharing: "Had it myself for 3 weeks. It will go eventually."

The GB News Breakfast star took to Instagram to reveal he's having to wear a patch over his right eye.
He didn't reveal the exact reason for the medical treatment, but displayed a positive attitude as he joked about the health update.
He penned: "One of these eye patches was put on in hospital and the other one by me. See if u can guess which?" before signing off: "Ps U should see the other guy!!!" (sic)
