The eldest son of David and Victoria is said to no longer be on speaking terms with his parents following a tumultuous year

Sir David Beckham has shared his 2025 highlights on Instagram, celebrating milestones including his knighthood, 50th birthday, and Inter Miami's MLS triumph.

However, in a rather glaring omission, his eldest son, Brooklyn, was conspicuously absent from every image in the 20-photo carousel.

The former England captain reflected on what he described as an "incredible" year, writing: "I feel very lucky to have had the year I've had in 2025 full of moments that I will never forget from my 50th to my knighthood (still pinching myself) and then finishing with winning the MLS as an owner."

He expressed gratitude to his "incredible wife" Victoria, and "amazing children", but notably did not tag any of his offspring individually, a departure from his usual practice of naming each child in family posts.

The collection of photographs showcased his three younger children – Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14 – enjoying family holidays and celebrations throughout the year.

Images of the family's four dogs, including cocker spaniels Fig, Sage, and Olive, plus a Cockapoo called Simba, also featured prominently.

Brooklyn's estrangement from the family has been evident throughout 2025. The 26-year-old failed to attend his father's lavish 50th birthday celebrations in May, which spanned several weeks and multiple countries.

He was similarly absent from Sir David's knighthood ceremony in November. The last occasion Brooklyn was publicly seen with his relatives was at Victoria's Paris Fashion Week show in March, though he did not appear at her October presentation.

Neither Sir David nor Lady Victoria attended Brooklyn and wife Nicola Peltz's vow renewal ceremony in August.

Cruz recently addressed speculation about the family's social media activity, firmly denying claims that his parents had unfollowed Brooklyn first.

"My mum and dad would never unfollow their son," he wrote on Instagram. "Let's get the facts right. They woke up blocked... as did I."

The 20-year-old confirmed that siblings Romeo and Harper had also been blocked by their eldest brother. Despite cutting off his immediate family, Brooklyn reportedly still follows his aunts and grandparents on the platform.

The rift is widely believed to stem from Brooklyn's absence at Sir David's milestone birthday celebrations. Brooklyn and Nicola have had no contact with his side of the family for months following the row, according to reports.

Sources suggest Brooklyn wants his parents to apologise to Nicola before any reconciliation can occur.

Followers quickly spotted Brooklyn's omission from the celebratory post.

"Brooklyn is clearly out of the picture," one commenter observed, while another wrote: "Sad to see your relationship with your eldest child has come to this. Hope you guys can fix it in 2026."

The family divide was further underscored over the festive period, with Brooklyn and Nicola opting to spend Christmas with her billionaire parents in Los Angeles rather than joining the Beckhams at their Cotswolds home.

Brooklyn was also notably absent from Holly Ramsay and Adam Peaty's wedding just days ago, an event attended by the rest of his family.

Nicola shared a cosy photograph of the couple on their sofa, captioning it "We didn't plan our outfits", prompting fans to urge Brooklyn to reconcile with his parents.
