Brooklyn Beckham has once again found himself the target of online ridicule after sharing a new cooking video that viewers branded “disgusting”, as his long-running family feud continues to play out in public.

The 26-year-old aspiring chef, who boasts more than 16 million Instagram followers, posted a clip showing himself preparing chicken parmesan, but many fans were left baffled by his unconventional approach.

In the video, Brooklyn is seen flattening minced chicken into patties, cracking multiple eggs for an egg wash, and crushing a tin of chopped tomatoes with his bare hands before assembling the dish.

The method quickly drew criticism in the comments section, with several viewers questioning why he had opted for ground chicken rather than a traditional chicken breast.

“Why are you using ground chicken?” one follower asked, while another wrote: “Chicken parm is made with a chicken breast, this looks gross.”

Others expressed confusion over the number of eggs used and the decision to include canned tomatoes, with one comment reading: “I don’t understand any of this.”

While some supporters defended the recipe and praised Brooklyn's creativity, the backlash dominated the reaction to the post.

The criticism comes amid heightened scrutiny of the Beckham family, following reports that Brooklyn had issued his parents, Sir David Beckham and Lady Victoria Beckham, with a legal notice last year.

According to reports, the letter requested that any contact be made privately through lawyers rather than via social media, and specifically asked that he not be tagged in public posts.

Sources have claimed Brooklyn wanted any attempt at reconciliation to take place away from public view, rather than being played out online.

The situation reportedly escalated after Victoria “liked” a previous cooking video shared by her son, an action said to have been viewed as a breach of his request.

Shortly afterwards, Brooklyn blocked both parents on Instagram, along with his younger brother Cruz.

Cruz later confirmed the move, writing online that the family had “woken up blocked”.

A source close to the situation said the fallout had been widely misunderstood.

“People think Brooklyn was just being difficult,” the source claimed. “But the reality is that he wanted to fix things quietly and felt his wishes weren’t being respected.”

The tension has unfolded against the backdrop of a relationship rift that has spanned several years, with friction first emerging around Brooklyn's wedding to Nicola Peltz in 2022.

While the couple later appeared to reconcile with the Beckhams, attending family events and fashion shows together, the relationship reportedly deteriorated again in 2025 when Brooklyn skipped his father’s 50th birthday celebrations.

The situation worsened later that year when he unfollowed his brothers Romeo and Cruz on social media, before eventually cutting off his parents and sister Harper as well.

Earlier this month, reports emerged that Brooklyn and Nicola renewed their wedding vows in New York without inviting any members of the Beckham family.

Most recently, Nicola was seen “liking” comments online, suggesting there was a reason Brooklyn no longer speaks to his parents, further fuelling speculation that reconciliation is not imminent.
