Brooklyn Peltz Beckham has broken his digital silence following reports that he issued a legal request instructing his parents to communicate with him only through representatives.
The development emerged on Thursday amid claims of a deepening rift within the Beckham family.
Reports suggested Brooklyn had sent a formal legal request to his parents, Sir David Beckham and Lady Victoria Beckham, asking that any contact be conducted exclusively via lawyers.
Sources claim the move followed frustration over what were perceived as “nasty” media briefings about his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, including suggestions he was being “controlled” or “held hostage” in the marriage.

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
Relations reportedly deteriorated further in the weeks before Christmas, when Brooklyn blocked his parents and younger brothers Romeo and Cruz on social media.
Sources claimed posts shared online by David and Victoria were causing distress to the couple.
It was alleged they would wake up anxious about what might have been shared overnight.
One of Brooklyn's younger siblings later confirmed the blocking during the festive period, revealing the family could no longer view his cooking content.
Despite the estrangement, Brooklyn is said to have maintained close ties with his grandparents.
Sources say he has remained in regular contact with his maternal grandparents, Tony and Jackie Adams, and paternal grandparents, Ted and Sandra Beckham.
The contact reportedly includes calls and messages exchanged between the US-based couple and relatives in Britain.
A source said: “Brooklyn absolutely adores them and knows how much pain this is causing everyone.

Brooklyn is said to have been careful to shield his grandparents from becoming embroiled in the wider family dispute.
Meanwhile, David and Victoria are said to be heartbroken by the continued estrangement from their eldest son.
A source close to the couple said: “They feel utterly bemused and devastated by this latest turn of events.“There is no malice on their part — only concern.”
Friends have claimed the couple attempted to keep the door open to reconciliation.
Invitations were reportedly extended to Brooklyn for his father’s 50th birthday celebrations and knighthood ceremony in November.
Ms Peltz was also said to have been invited to a family dinner following the investiture.
The couple are understood to have declined both invitations.
Any prospect of reconciliation now appears remote.
Sources say communication between the two sides is currently conducted solely through legal channels.
