For the first time, the ceremony is heading outside London, with Manchester's Co-op Live playing host to the glittering event.
The shortlist was unveiled during a special digital broadcast called 'Bring on the Brits', filmed at the venue itself.
Presenters Charley Marlowe and Sarah Story revealed the contenders across 15 categories, with reactions from nominated artists and a performance from Critics' Choice winner Jacob Alon.
