Bob Vylan has been dealt a fresh blow, with the duo dropped from the lineup at this weekend’s Radar Festival, according to a statement posted on the event’s official Instagram page on Wednesday afternoon.
The punk duo had been slated to headline on Saturday at the Manchester O2 Victoria Warehouse, one of the most anticipated performances of the festival.
But the organisers issued a brief announcement that read: “Bob Vylan will not be appearing at RADAR Festival this weekend.”
While no official explanation was provided, the decision comes just days after the band’s controversial Glastonbury set, during which frontman Pascal Robinson-Foster chanted “death to the IDF” during their performance.
Robinson-Foster also told the audience: “From the river to the sea, Palestine must be, will be, free.”
During the same set, he told the crowd: “We are not pacifist punks here over at Bob Vylan Enterprises. We are the violent punks, because sometimes, you have to get your message across with violence because that is the only language some people speak.”
Their performance sparked intense backlash and was swiftly condemned by the Government, Glastonbury organisers, and the BBC.
The broadcaster, in particular, is now facing its own wave of scrutiny for choosing to air the set live.

The set is also being investigated by the police, with Avon and Somerset Police saying a senior detective had been appointed to investigate if the comments made amounted to a criminal offence.
On Tuesday, Bob Vylan released a statement claiming they are being "targeted" for speaking up for Palestine.
They appeared to defend the comments made, writing: “We are not for the death of Jews, Arabs or any other race or group of people. We are for the dismantling of a violent military machine.
“A machine whose own soldiers were told to use ‘unnecessary lethal force’ against innocent civilians waiting for aid. A machine that has destroyed much of Gaza.”

They added: "We are being targeted for speaking up. We are not the first. We will not be the last. And if you care for the sanctity of human life and freedom of speech, we urge you to speak up, too. FREE PALESTINE."
This latest blow comes after the band was dropped from United Talent Agency following emergency discussions among senior executives.
The pair have also had their US visas revoked as they were scheduled for an America tour later this year.
US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau confirmed the visa cancellations on Monday, saying: “Foreigners who glorify violence and hatred are not welcome visitors to our country.”
