Ben Leo has hit out at critics of Donald Trump following the US President’s decision to agree to a temporary ceasefire with Iran.
The People's Channel presenter took to X to vent his frustration after backlash erupted online in response to Mr Trump’s announcement of a two-week pause in hostilities, which the President described as a “total and complete victory”.
In his post, Ben wrote: “I can’t keep up. These TDS [Trump Derangement Syndrome] people cried all last night that Trump was going to nuke 90million Iranians.
“When he didn’t (who’d have guessed) they call him chicken.

The presenter was responding to a separate post which accused Mr Trump of capitulating to Iran, claiming he had “fully surrendered” by agreeing to a reported 10-point peace proposal.
Mr Trump’s announcement came after days of escalating tensions, during which he had previously warned that Iran’s “whole civilisation” could be destroyed if conflict intensified.

This was subject to conditions, including the safe reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
He later told reporters he had secured a “100 per cent” victory, insisting the US had already achieved its military objectives and was close to a longer-term peace agreement.
The UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has since jetted to the Middle East in the wake of the ceasefire for discussions.

The PM penned on X: "I welcome the ceasefire agreement reached overnight, which will bring a moment of relief to the region and the world.
"Together with our partners we must do all we can to support and sustain this ceasefire, turn it into a lasting agreement and re-open the Strait of Hormuz."
Meanwhile, President Trump took to Truth Social to comment on the new ceasefire.
"A big day for World Peace! Iran wants it to happen, they’ve had enough!" the President began.
Another argued: “We are in this position because of the acts of Trump and Israel, trying to spin this as a win is laughable.”
A third X user penned: “It was obvious Trump was bluffing, which is a dangerous game to play.”
