A medical tribunal is currently examining allegations that Dr Asif Munaf, who competed on The Apprentice in 2024, shared a series of deeply offensive messages on social media over a nearly two-year period.
The General Medical Council has brought misconduct charges against the doctor, claiming he posted and reposted antisemitic, racist and sexist content on his X account between October 2023 and July 2025.
During this timeframe, Mr Munaf appeared on the BBC business competition programme seeking investment for his vitamin and supplement venture.
The Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service hearing has proceeded without the former contestant present, and he currently has no legal representation at the proceedings.

GMC lawyer Harriet Tighe presented examples of the allegedly offensive posts to the tribunal panel.
Among the content allegedly shared from his account was a post featuring a Star of David alongside a swastika symbol.
The tribunal heard claims that the doctor had promoted conspiracy theories suggesting 9/11 was an "inside job" perpetrated by Jewish people, The Mirror reports.
Another alleged post stated: "Zionists are extremely strong. They have strong media, military and banking. They are godless satanic cult."

The GMC lawyer also highlighted a post containing a racial slur directed at boxer Floyd Mayweather.
Separate messages allegedly posted by Munaf expressed views that women should be barred from becoming pilots, comparing this to men working as midwives or hairdressers.
One post reportedly declared: "Female empowerment is one of the great tricks of Satan. Islam gives us the blueprint. When will the world wake up?"
During an earlier hearing, Munaf rejected claims that his comments regarding Jewish people constituted antisemitism.

| BBCHowever, he acknowledged the posts were "not befitting of someone as educated as myself and were said in the heat of the emotion".
The former reality television contestant has chosen not to attend the current tribunal proceedings and appears without any legal counsel to represent his interests.
Following accusations of antisemitic social media activity, Mr Munaf was reportedly removed from the spin-off programme You're Fired, despite having appeared on the main Apprentice series.
His participation in the BBC show was aimed at securing backing for his vitamin and supplement business, though his absence from the companion programme suggested producers had distanced themselves from the contestant.

Beyond the social media allegations, the GMC has raised concerns about Mr Munaf's professional conduct during his medical duties.
The tribunal heard claims that he abandoned a locum position at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust in January 2024 without providing adequate justification for his departure.
He had been filling in as a cardiology specialist registrar at the time of the alleged incident.
A further allegation suggests Munaf provided a sick note to a patient in November 2024 whilst under suspension from practising medicine.
The tribunal was told he had established an online venture called Dr Sick Ltd that year, which advertised the ability to "beat the GP wait" by delivering sick notes within "as little as two hours".
The hearing continues.
