A Strictly Come Dancing star has pulled out just hours before the third live show over health fears.
Neighbours star Stefan Dennis, 66, was paired up with dancing professional and fan-favourite Dianne Buswell just a few weeks ago.
A statement from Strictly on Instagram read: "Due to illness over the past few days, Stefan Dennis has been advised to rest and, as a result, he will not dance this weekend.
"In line with the rules of Strictly, Stefan and Dianne will receive a bye through to next week when they will hopefully be able to dance again."
They added: "Stefan Dennis won’t be dancing on Saturday night due to illness.
"We wish him a speedy recovery and will hopefully see him back in the Ballroom with Dianne next week."
Issuing a response, Ms Buswell shared on Instagram: "Sending Aussie love to the wonderful @stefandennis7. You are such a trooper and I know how much you wanted to dance.
"Hopefully we will be back in full force next week," the red-headed dancer added.
Mr Dennis' sickness is the latest misfortune for the BBC dancing competition, with former contestant Dani Dyer forced to leave the competition before the first live show.
It was revealed that the Love Island star was paired up with pro Nikita Kuzmin a week ahead of the first live show in September.
However, after the star fractured her ankle in rehearsals, she was forced to hang up her dancing shoes.
As a result, she was replaced with West End star Amber Davies just days before the pair took to the ballroom.
Earlier this week, contestant Vicky Pattison missed her appearance with partner Kai Widdrington on the show's spin-off show It Takes Two.
Viewers subsequently speculated that Ms Pattison had quit the show altogether - a rumour the 37-year-old was quick to shut down.
LATEST FROM STRICTLY
Sharing a picture of the two together, she wrote: "There seems to have a bit of a miscommunication! @kaiwidd was poorly earlier on in the week and I wasn't 110 per centso we had to pull out of our weekly appearance on It Takes Two... that's it.
She added: "I have not dropped out of Strictly... I'm having a lovely time and really grateful for this experience!
"Plus, Kai is feeling better now so we're back in the rehearsal room AND back on It Takes Two tonight... just thought I'd clear that up."
The contestants have been excitably gearing up for one of the most anticipated themed episodes: Movie Week.
