The news comes soon after The Yorkshire Shepherdess shared some sad news

Amanda Owen fans will be delighted to learn the Yorkshire Shepherdess' More4 show has been commissioned for two further series.

Our Farm in the Dales: Amanda, Clive and Kids aired its latest series earlier this year, and ever since fans have been pleading for more episodes.

The farming and renovation series, centred around the former stars of Our Yorkshire Farm, follows the Owens as they continue to work on a centuries-old derelict farmhouse.

On Friday, August 15, fans finally got the news they'd been waiting for when Channel 4 shared that not one but two further series of the show would be coming.

Despite Amanda and Clive's 2022 split, which led to the cancellation of Our Yorkshire Farm, the former couple have continued working together on the newer programmes.

As well as the renovation project, the programme shows the family working on the remote farm.

In the third and fourth series of Our Farm Next Door, cameras will follow the Owen family as - with the exterior of the house finally finished - they set to work on their huge interiors project, planning what will go where and how things might look, not to mention installing plumbing and running water.

Viewers will also see the day-to-day farming lives of Amanda, Clive and their nine rapidly-growing children in the remote Yorkshire Dales, as well as Amanda’s project to delve into the fascinating history of the house they’re renovating and its most famous resident, Swaledale map maker, Anthony Clarkson.

The Yorkshire Shepherdess commented: "I am beyond delighted that we have been given the opportunity to showcase this unique and beautiful part of our British countryside and for people to join us on our exciting journey through the restoration of our farm next door.

"We're grateful for Channel 4's support and the effort and utter dedication of the film crew who have had to work in challenging weather conditions, coupled with the unimaginable chaos of both children and animals.

"This is a programme that I am seriously proud of."

Jayne Stanger, commissioning editor for Channel 4, said: "Following the Owen family's incredible work to renovate Anty John’s has been such a joy and I’m over the moon we’re able to continue the journey with two more series for More4.

"I can’t wait to see how the amazing transformation of the farmhouse continues as well as enjoying the magnificent Yorkshire scenery we’re treated to in every episode."

Wise Owl series producer James Knight stated: "Watching the 11-strong Owen family pulling together to transform this wonderful old barn has been an incredible ride so far.

"We're so thrilled we'll be there to cover the next chapter. As work begins inside to turn its four walls into a home, Amanda will be digging deeper into Anty John's eye-opening back story, and we’re looking forward to spending more glorious days at both Ravenseat and Anty John's."

The welcome news comes just days after Owen took to social media to express her frustration at hooligans who "desecrated" the well-kept spot.

n a two and a half minute video posted to Reels, she expressed her "anger" at the vandals who stole the flag poles.

Showing the camera a gap in a low stone wall, she said: "That happens and can be remedied - I'm talking about this. You might ask yourself what has happened there?

"At some point in the last couple of days somebody has come to these pens on the border between Cumbria and Yorkshire and has come into these beautiful pens that have been stood here for centuries, and they have dug up and taken the flags out of the floor.

"Can you imagine this floor has stood the test of time and has been here for hundreds of years? This isn't a place that isn't used - This is a place that has history."
