However, she looked on the bright side as she continued: "We are fortunate that as a very wet, boggy hill farm, we do not tend to burn up, but the weird weather has certainly nipped in the bud any thoughts of a bumper hay crop.
"Look at the flowers though. it’s now the turn of the violet, blue and purple hues. #haytime #meadow #grass #yorkshire #shepherdess #swaledale #flowers."
The 19 snaps showed the beautiful array of wild flowers, as well as son Sydney working on a tractor.
Jumping to applaud the former Our Yorkshire Farm star on the beautiful pictures and the tough work at Ravenseat, fans flooded the post with comments.

One penned: "Thank you, thank you - for sharing all this beauty.
"Worries about insufficient food for your animals in the winter of 25-26 must be stressful - at least the cattle and sheep and horses can have a few tasty mouthfuls!
"And what a wonderful selection of flowers -so vibrant and pretty and probably rare. And is it Sidney at the wheel or perhaps Miles?
"Bless you all and the younger generation with a superb programme of their own. I am so grateful."
Another commented: "Absolutely gorgeous flowers, just love them all! You’re so lucky to have this on your doorstep!
"Oh Sidney you're such a hardworking boy & looking so grown up! You’re making a fantastic farmer!"
"You have some beautiful wild flowers up in the Yorkshire dales. Many years ago I visited Hannah Hauxwell's wild flower meadows in 1990 when she was still living at Low Birk Hatt Farm and they were spectacular," a third wrote.
Many fans expressed their appreciation for Owen's post, with another adding: "Amazing, thank you for sharing. It's nice to know that they are there."
