Amanda Owen frequently shares moments captured at Ravenseat Farm on social media | INSTAGRAM “Was it worth it?” she wrote. “So by taking one lamb from the latter is that two ewes with accompanying lambs can go away with a lamb a piece. So yes, it absolutely was worth it.”
Ms Owen explained that one ewe had lost both of her lambs but still had milk, while another could not feed both of her twins.
The procedure, she said, was designed to ensure both animals could successfully rear a lamb.
“I don’t wish to offend or upset anyone but I truly want to share what doing your best can sometimes involve,” she wrote.

Despite the warnings, the post quickly drew a wave of criticism from some viewers.
Several accused Ms Owen of going too far by sharing the footage publicly.
