Jacob King
Sunny spells for most areas, and a drier day than of late for most areas. Still some showers about though, mainly in the east and especially over eastern Scotland where some heavy, thundery downpours. Light winds and feeling warmer.
Daytime showers fading leaving many areas dry with clear spells and a few fog patches. Cloudier conditions and outbreaks of rain then reaching parts of Northern Ireland by dawn.
Early cloud and outbreaks of rain over Northern Ireland spreading into Scotland, northern England and Wales. Elsewhere staying dry with sunny spells, best of sunshine in the southeast.
Northern areas will be showery with a brisk breeze, whereas southern areas will mostly be fine and settled. Through Saturday cloud, rain and drizzle will likely arrive across the southwest.
