More flights will go to Portugal, Spain and Malta

Ryanair has unveiled its Norwich Summer 2026 schedule, giving East Anglia holidaymakers three sunny destinations to choose from.

The budget carrier announced travellers can jet off to Alicante, Faro and Malta from Norwich Airport, with fares starting at just £29.99.

The full summer timetable is now open for bookings through the Ryanair app, so travellers can start planning their 2026 getaways right away.

The big news is an extra weekly flight to Faro, Portugal's beloved Algarve gateway.

From March 30, Ryanair will operate three departures each week to this sunshine hotspot – on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

This gives holidaymakers much more flexibility when it comes to planning their trips, whether they want a quick long weekend or a proper fortnight in the sun.

Before, Britons had fewer options, but the expanded schedule means East Anglia residents can now pick departure days that suit their work and family commitments far more easily.

Ryanair's director of communications, Jade Kirwan, said: "Ryanair is pleased to launch our Summer 2026 schedule for Norwich, offering three routes to Alicante, Faro and Malta.

"This summer we will operate an extra, third weekly flight from Norwich to Faro, meaning that from March 30, we'll have flights Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays perfect for planning both short and long trips."

Managing director of Norwich Airport, Richard Pace, added: “We’re delighted to see Ryanair’s continued growth at Norwich and passengers will warmly welcome this third weekly flight on the Faro route.

"This follows the recent extension of their Malta service through the winter, and year-round flights to Alicante, providing even more choice for travellers across the region.”

Faro opens the door to the Algarve's stunning coastline, charming fishing villages and world-class golf courses.

Malta, meanwhile, combines ancient history, crystal-clear waters and a unique culture that feels wonderfully different yet comfortingly familiar thanks to its British heritage.
