Beautiful parts of Scotland, England and Wales should be considered for an autumn walk

With autumn leaves putting on a colourful display across the UK, many Britons are looking to embrace the outdoors, and an autumn walk is the ideal way to do this.

Research has found the top trending destinations to visit to embrace the beauty of the UK this season, with a Welsh route topping the list.


Wales, with golden forest trails and scenic views, came out on top in the research by Parkdean Resorts. More specifically, holidaymakers should aim for Hafren Forest or Aberglaslyn Pass.

The research was gathered by analysing data from the most-viewed TikTok videos to find the most popular autumn walking hotspots in 2025.

Speaking of the top two, the experts said: "With over 1.2 million TikTok views, Hafren Forest has been crowned the most viral autumn walk in the UK. Nestled in the Cambrian Mountains, this picturesque woodland forest offers lush evergreens, golden foliage and stunning riverside trails to explore.

"Located in Snowdonia National Park, Aberglaslyn Pass has been named the second-best autumnal walk in the UK.

"With over 642,000 views on TikTok, this picturesque riverside walk takes visitors through the wooded valleys alongside the River Glaslyn. This captivating walk showcases the very best of North Wales' natural beauty."

Outside of Wales, two Peak District walks ranked highly on the list - Flash and Three Shires Head and Butterley Reservoir. The experts continued: "Gaining over 340,100 views, the Flash and Three Shires Head walk has been revealed as the North of England’s ultimate autumn escape.

"Located in the Peak District National Park, this 6km circular walk is framed by the breathtaking hues of autumn leaves."

Four parts of Scotland were recommended

Parts of Scotland also made the list, with four routes gaining thousands of TikTok views. Hermitage Bridge has the most views for Scotland, at 232,600, followed by Conic Hill (229,200), Lochgoilhead (98,600) and Glencoe Lochan (89,700).

Speaking of Hermitage Bridge, the experts commented: "Nestled within the wooded glen of the Hermitage, this enchanting destination embodies the golden hues of autumn. Another favourite in sixth place is Conic Hill, located on the West Highland Way, which offers scenic views over Loch Lomond."
