The Easter holidays are in full swing and many Britons will be keen to get away with their families while schools are out.
However, British airline Jet2 has warned that holiday plans may face "disruption" this weekend as a storm hits the UK.
Holidaymakers flying with Jet2 were urged to check the website 12 hours before their flight, and arrive at their departure airport at least two hours before their scheduled departure time.
An update from today advised: "Please check this section of the website at least 12 hours before your flight for the latest flight information.
"Customers are advised to arrive at their departure airport at least 2 hours before their scheduled departure time.

"In the event of any flight delays, further information can be found by using the search panel by entering your flight number or route. As a reminder, check-in desks will close 40 minutes before your scheduled departure time.
"Rest assured, in the event of flight disruption our dedicated Operations teams are always working hard behind the scenes at our UK-based HQ to get you on your way as soon as possible."
This morning's weather warning read: "Our operations team continues to monitor the UK forecast to ensure we have the most up to date information for all Jet2.com departing and arriving customers on Friday, April 5, Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7, 2024.
"The Met Office has warned that the stormy conditions are due to continue, at times, in parts of the UK for the coming days.
"If you are travelling with Jet2.com we plan to operate our flights as close to schedule as possible, however, there may be some disruption should the weather deteriorate.
"We advise all customers to check in as scheduled (our check-in desks close 40 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time) and our friendly Red Teams in the terminal will keep you up to date."
The airline told Britons that if their flight is disrupted, Jet2 will be in contact via SMS and Email. The airline will also post regular updates on the Jet2 website. The airline asked holidaymakers to ensure their contact information is correct, urging them to do this via the 'manage my booking' section.
Jet2 told Britons that wherever possible, flights will board all flights for on-time departure. However, they were warned that there may be a "longer than normal wait, either in the terminal or onboard the aircraft to depart". Holidaymakers should get to the airport in good time for their flight.
Britons heading away this weekend can access their individual flight information by entering their flight number or route under Jet2's Latest Travel Information.

Jet2 apologised for any disruption that may occur this weekend, assuring flyers that their comfort and safety is the airline's top priority.

"Our friendly Customer Helpers will be on hand to help. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding should you experience an extended wait time, which is beyond our control.
"All Jet2.com flights will be using check-in desks 188 to 203 and will board from Module A."
