The UK is blessed with stunning coastlines, which can make perfect destinations for your next holiday.
While staycations are becoming more popular and expensive, an expert has shared five places you can escape to without the big price tag.
Coasts in England and Wales were highlighted by co-founder and CEO of Ferryhopper, Christos Spatharakis.
He said: "Free natural attractions begin to dominate the agenda - beaches, coastal strolls, and vistas are free. Accommodation begins significantly cheaper than it does in main holiday spots, like Cornwall. Local transport and food costs are also significantly cheaper than in holiday destinations."

Top 5 Cheapest UK Coastal Staycation Destinations
1. Blackpool, Lancashire
Blackpool has long been popular with Britons, but the demand doesn't seem to have pushed the prices up. It has affordable accommodation and the attractions are reasonably priced, making it a great choice for a coastal escape.
Mr Spatharakis said: "From travel cost analysis, Blackpool repeatedly provides the cheapest seaside accommodation in the UK, with family guesthouses from just £35 per night.
"It's free beach, cheap attractions such as the Tower Ballroom (from £12), and lengthy free promenade entertainment make it the budget family winner."
2. Great Yarmouth, Norfolk
Great Yarmouth has a great beach and caravan parks that won't break the bank. There is also plenty to keep holidaymakers entertained.
Spatharakis added: "Accommodation is cheaper than Brighton, with caravan parks at about £25 per night. Adding free beach sports to cheap family attractions like the Sea Life Centre (from £16 adults, under-3s free) makes it great value for family holidays."
3. Weston-super-Mare, Somerset
If looking to get away in the south west, Weston-super-Mare has been recommended by the travel expert.
He said: "Accommodation is £45 per night rather than £80+ in Cornwall. The free pier promenades, the cheap donkey rides (£3+), and the majority of the free seaside walks make it ideal for couples who want romance without expensive coastal costs."
4. Skegness, Lincolnshire
Described as one of the "UK's cheapest family seaside holidays", Skegness has a nearby seal sanctuary, theme park, wildlife park and more, all at low prices.

5. Rhyl, North Wales
Wales is known for a number of caravan parks and holiday accommodations next to its beautiful beaches, and Rhyl is one of the most budget-friendly places for this.
The travel expert continued: "Much cheaper than popular Welsh coastal resorts like Tenby, where overnight accommodation starts at around £40 per night.
"The beach entertainment for nothing, water park attractions (from £8.50), and stunning promenades along the coast are great value for couples and families."
