The scheme will make sure Britons have everything the need during their staycation

A new collaboration between Boots and Deliveroo aims to rescue forgetful holidaymakers across Britain. The pharmacy chain found more than half of UK residents routinely leave behind crucial items when heading out for summer activities.

The partnership now enables delivery of essential products to more than 75 popular tourist destinations throughout the country.

Whether visitors find themselves without sun protection at Joss Bay, require blister treatment whilst climbing Arthur's Seat in Scotland, or need pain medication at Wembley Stadium, the service promises rapid access to health and beauty necessities.

Customers can access pre-assembled packages designed for specific activities through both the Boots website and Deliveroo's platform. These curated collections cater to beachgoers, festival attendees and outdoor adventurers, bundling together frequently needed products.

The service removes the need to purchase items individually, offering convenience and cost savings through single-click ordering. Deliveries can be arranged to residential addresses or directly to any of the 75 designated tourist locations across the UK.

This streamlined approach ensures travellers receive their forgotten necessities quickly, whether they're enjoying coastal breaks, attending music events or exploring hiking trails throughout Britain.

Research conducted by Boots identified specific patterns in what British travellers leave behind. For coastal visits, protective eyewear and sun protection lead the list of overlooked necessities, followed by remedies for insect bites, soothing lotions for sunburn, and bug deterrents.

Mountain walkers and hikers most frequently forget sun protection, specialised adhesive strips for blisters, and protective eyewear. They also commonly overlook insect deterrents, bite treatments, and pocket tissues.

Festival-goers are most likely to neglect sun protection and sunglasses, alongside hearing protection, insect deterrents, and pain medication.

More overlooked items include post-sun treatments, lip protection, adhesive bandages, and cleansing wipes for both general use and facial care.
