Virgin TV has added two brand-new channels to its service in a surprise update to millions of set-top boxes. The channels are completely available to everyone at no extra cost.
The new additions to the TV Guide are FAST channels (Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television), which means they're delivered via a broadband connection and not aerial. That means you'll need a Virgin TV 360 box, Virgin Stream, or Virgin V6 box with an active Wi-Fi or ethernet connection to start watching.

This contemporary film channel promises a catalogue with over 500 movies that covers all genres. The channel has organised themed stunts every day, such as Romance Mondays and Sci-fi Wednesdays, as well as special seasonal events tied to key calendar moments including Halloween and Christmas.

The new channels join a packed lineup of 33 FAST channels now accessible on Virgin TV, including Inside Crime, Homes Under The Hammer, Red Bull TV, Hell’s Kitchen, and many more.

The new additions can be found on the Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) on your Virgin TV box. These channels show the continued push to expand FAST channel offering on Virgin TV hardware, providing an alternative and complementary experience to traditional linear television.

For those who don't know, Free Ad-supported Streaming TV (FAST) channels let viewers watch shows and movies online for free, supported by ads instead of subscriptions or aerial signals.
Since 2023, the number of FAST channels worldwide has jumped from about 800 to over 1,600, with UK viewers now choosing to watch more than 500 channels. In Britain, around one in five people tune in each month, and experts predict FAST audiences will exceed 20 million by 2027.
