It may be time to invest in a better night's sleep

Derbyshire-based "Bed In A Box" brand Simba has launched its biggest-ever Black Friday sale, with discounts of £840 available on its award-winning mattresses.

The popular online mattress store is going head-to-head with other so-called "Bed In A Box" brand, like Emma, which has also launched its Black Friday sale.

Mattress, pillows, and bed frames from British brand Simba are available from several retailers, including Amazon, but it's saved the biggest discounts for its own online store.

For example, the Simba Hybrid Essential model has been slashed down to £486, whereas it's only marked down to £499 on Amazon. The retailer doesn't just sell mattresses either, they also offer some of the best mattress toppers in the UK, pillows, duvets, and more.

Simba offers a 200-night home trial across all of its mattresses, so you'll be able to thoroughly test out its hybrid designs — that blend both pocket-spring and memory foam technology — until mid-March 2026 and still send the mattress back for a full refund if you're unhappy. Yes, really... Simba is that confident.

Making things even more affordable, Simba offers interest-free monthly payment plans, so you can divide the cost of these premium hybrid-design mattresses over 3 to 12 months.

The hybrid essential is the most affordable out of the line-up, and you can pay in interest-free monthly payment plans for up to 12 months. It's designed to give you quality support without breaking the bank

The most budget-friendly option in the mattress range is Simba's Hybrid Essential, which packs Simba Sleep tech into a trimmed-down design. It offers cooling, medium-firm support, and solid motion isolation — meaning it can absorb and minimise the transfer of movement from one part of the bed to another.

Designed with nine zoned support areas and structured foam, its purpose is to deliver a "hugged" feel with targeted alignment and cooling performance.

However, with only four layers of foam and micro springs, it's a more modest 20cm deep. Simba Sleep has patented its own Simbatex foam technology that's designed to promote airflow throughout the design — keeping you cool while you sleep in the hot summer months. It's rated as "medium" support, so it should be good for most sleepers. It could be a better choice for back and side sleepers seeking quality support at an accessible price.

The Hybrid Pro model is not only a best seller out of the line-up, but it's also award-winning. Designed to give you support and with maximum cooling technology, it's set to give you an uninterrupted, restful night.

If you're looking for a slight step up, the Simbas's Hybrid Pro is an award-winner that adds a few more layers to the design. It comes equipped with maximum cooling technology to keep you from overheating. It also boasts over double the amount of springs and an extra wool layer to provide even more support.

However, if you're looking for extra cushioning and layering, the Simba Hybrid Lux is on sale for £1,189 — was £1,699, and it comes with triple spring layers (including micro springs), a wool/bamboo top layer, and structured foam for maximum support. With a breathable cover, this option strikes a luxurious balance of softness and support.

If you've never shopped the brand before, Simba Sleep is a British success story, with its award-winning hybrid mattresses designed and manufactured in the UK from factory in Derbyshire. Meanwhile, the supportive pocket-springs are made in Leeds from British steel. "We love that Simba is able to source locally and support one of the great trades remaining in the UK — we are lovingly handmade and homemade," the company says.

Founded in 2015, Simba started with a single mattress design that combined memory foam, responsive springs, and temperature-regulating layers to create balanced comfort and support. Since then, the brand has expanded its range to include hybrid and premium mattresses, pillows, duvets, and bed frames.
