The money-back scheme only applies to orders made before April 2024

Samsung is very confident about its latest generation of vacuum cleaners. The South Korean brand is offering a “100-day promise” on all its cordless and robot vacuum cleaners, which lets you return the product for a full refund if you’re not satisfied with its performance in the first 100 days.

In comparison, best-selling vacuum cleaner brand Dyson offers a 35-day returns policy, which lets you change your mind on any of its products (vacuums, hair care, purifiers, fans, and heaters) anytime within the first 35 days after receiving your machine. Shark has a 30-day return policy.

“Our 100 Day Promise allows you plenty of time to experience quality cleaning with the Samsung vacuum cleaners, including the Jet Series, Robot Vacuum range, and Clean Station. And if you’re not impressed, you can send it back. Simple as that,” Samsung boasts on its website.

Samsung will close the scheme on April 1, so you’ll need to order before the end of next month or risk missing out. The 100-day promise isn’t just available when buying directly from Samsung's own high street and online stores, but instead, several shops are included in the scheme.

If you’ve purchased from Selfridges, Harrods, Hughes, Bunny’s, Marks Electrical, Sonic Direct, or Martin Dawes Ltd, you’ll also be able to claim the full refund after three months of using the vacuum.

Samsung’s cordless vacuum range competes directly with flagship models from Dyson and Shark.

Like its closest rivals, Samsung ships its cordless vacuums with a range of different attachments to assist when cleaning throughout the house, including a 43-centimetre crevice tool and dedicated motorised head to detangle pet hair.

The Jet series arrives with a wall-mounted charging cradle in the box, while the pricier Bespoke Jet has a free-standing cradle that can automatically empty and clean the dustbin every time it's holstered.

Everything is stored in a bin bag inside the stand, for a fuss-free disposal. It can also store some of the optional attachments for the vacuum.

Prices for Samsung Jet vacuum cleaners eligible for the 100-day promise start from £249, rising to £1,299 for the AI-powered Jet Bot robot vacuum.

For comparison, Dyson cordless vacuums start from £229.99 for the V8 model, which made its debut back in 2016, and max out at £1,199.99 for the self-guided Dyson 360 robot cleaner.
