Superb iPhone 15 deal drops your monthly bills below £30, but there's a small catch with this Boxing Day deal
APPLE PRESS OFFICE
Pocket the latest iPhone for just £29.99 per month
If you want to upgrade to the iPhone 15, look no further than this brilliant Boxing Day deal from Mobiles.co.uk. Forjust £29.99 per month, you'll take delivery of an iPhone 15 in your choice of colour, with a whopping 250GB of 5G mobile data coupled with unlimited calls and text messages.
That monthly allowance of 5G data is more than enough to stream YouTube videos, download podcasts, listen to music from Spotify, answer FaceTime video calls, upload albums to Facebook and much more without worrying about connecting to your nearest Wi-Fi network.
Calls, texts and 5G data are handled by iD Mobile, which is a virtual operator that piggybacks on Three's nationwide network of masts. If you can already get a decent 5G signal from Three in your local area, you'll have no issues with iD Mobile, which is operated by Currys.
In total, you'll spend £868.76 over the course of the two-year contract.
Head to your local Apple Store to buy the same model of iPhone 15, you'll need to spend £799. As such, you're only spending an extra £70-odd to enjoy two years of 5G data, unlimited calls to UK mobiles and landlines, and unlimited text messages. That equates to roughly 9p per day.
So, what's the catch? Mobiles.co.uk is asking for an upfront cost of £149 to unlock this deal, which is much higher than you'll get from other networks.
Of course, that upfront fee is included in the total cost of the 24-month contract ...but it does mean the first month of this new iD Mobile contract will be pretty expensive. It's still much more affordable than the £799 you'd need to spend in a lump sum in the Apple Store to get your hands on the iPhone 15.
Apple currently offers three months of Apple TV+, the Californian brand's answer to Disney+ and Netflix, with the purchase of any new iPhone, including the iPhone 15. So you'll be able to use the 250GB allowance of 5G data to binge-watch exclusive shows like Ted Lasso, Bad Sisters, and Foundation from Apple's video on-demand service.
iPhone 15 only made its debut back in September — making it the most recent model from Apple. It boasts an edge-to-edge screen with the Dynamic Island-style notch that shows real-time information from your apps, including directions, timers, and any songs or podcasts currently playing on your iPhone.
Apple refreshed the colour options available with the iPhone 15, offering its latest handset in a choice of Blue, Pink, Yellow, Green, and Black

It features an upgraded 48-megapixel camera that automatically captures the depth information needed for Portrait Mode-style photos whenever you take a snap of a person or a pet. As such, you'll be able to add or remove the DSLR-like effect whenever you want.
You'll also find support for slow-motion, Action Mode to offer GoPro-like experience with video, pixel-packed 4K footage, Cinematic Video (which brings the same bokeh-style blur as Portrait Mode images to videos), ultra-wide photos and videos, and a lossless 2x digital zoom.
Apple has ditched its proprietary Lightning connector in favour of USB-C, which means you'll be able to pack a single cable to charge your iPhone 15, Nintendo Switch, Amazon Kindle, iPad Pro, MacBook Air, and more. Wired and wireless charging are supported on iPhone 15, which is protected by the latest generation of Ceramic Shield toughened glass.
All of the same life-saving functionality introduced with the iPhone 14 remains present and correct on its successor. That means your new iPhone can automatically detect if you've been involved in a car accident and — if you fail to respond to a countdown that appears on-screen — the handset can call your emergency contact and send detailed information on your location to the emergency services.
Emergency SOS via Satellite is also baked into the iPhone 15, which lets you send a text to the emergency services even if you don't have any mobile signal or Wi-Fi coverage.
iPhone 15 is available in Blue, Pink, Yellow, Green, and Black.
Mobiles.co.uk isn't the only online store with deals on the iPhone 15, you'll also find discounts on pay monthly plans from EE, Three, Vodafone, and O2 too. Sadly, you won't find any discounts in the Apple Store itself, although it is the only place that offers free engraving — so you can personalise your new handset with a message on the rear glass case.
