The 26-year-old stated that she is continuing efforts to prove her innocence, adding: "I'm still working to clear my name."
Vondrousova explained that her refusal stemmed from fear about opening her door to an unknown individual late in the evening, citing the horrifying 2016 attack on her compatriot Petra Kvitova as justification for her caution.
She claimed that the testing official "rang my door late at night without properly identifying themselves or following protocol".
Kvitova was subjected to a terrifying knife assault at her home in Prostejov after admitting a man who claimed to be checking utility meters.

The attacker held a blade to her throat, and Kvitova sustained severe hand injuries while escaping his grip, requiring four hours of emergency surgery.
Vondrousova revealed that the incident occurred when she had reached a critical point following prolonged physical and psychological strain.
She wrote: "I can't really keep saying I'm okay when I'm not.
"The recent doping control incident happened because I reached a breaking point after months of physical and mental stress."

She said: "In that moment, fear clouded my judgement, and I just couldn't process the situation rationally. After what happened to Petra, we don't take strangers at our door lightly."
A spokesman for the ITIA confirmed the proceedings, stating: "We are aware of the player's comments. We can confirm that an investigation is underway, and the player has been charged with refusing a test.
"At this stage, we are not able to comment any further on the specifics."
