Britain's tennis star Jack Draper has announced he's ending his 2025 season early because of an arm injury that's been troubling him for months.
The 23-year-old, who sits at world number seven and holds the British number one spot, made the tough call after being forced to withdraw from the US Open last month.
It's a devastating blow for Draper, who was having a brilliant year and building serious momentum on the court.
The injury means he'll miss out on the rest of the season's big tournaments, including some seriously lucrative opportunities that were within his grasp.

Draper shared his disappointment in a statement, saying: "Unfortunately, the injury to my arm is something I have to rest and means I'll be sitting out the rest of 2025."
He admitted it's been tough to accept the situation. "It is very difficult for me to accept as I was building some incredible momentum this year and playing some great stuff," he explained.

But the young Brit remains optimistic about his future. "However I've been through this before – and I always come back stronger as I'm so motivated to fulfil my potential as a player," Draper added.
The trouble started after his second-round loss to Marin Cilic at Wimbledon, when doctors discovered bone bruising in his left arm.
The injury affects his upper left serving arm, specifically the humerus bone, and while it doesn't need surgery, it requires complete rest to heal properly.

Draper tried to push through at Flushing Meadows after spending a month without hitting a serve.
He managed to beat Argentine qualifier Federico Agustin Gomez in the first round, but the pain became too much.
He had to pull out before his scheduled second-round match against Zizou Bergs and flew home immediately.
