Emma Raducanu advanced to the Washington Open semi-finals after defeating Maria Sakkari 6-4, 7-5 in Friday's quarter-final encounter.
The British number one maintained her flawless record against the Greek player, extending her dominance to four victories without conceding a single set across their meetings.
The 22-year-old's triumph at the Mubadala Citi DC Open came on Sakkari's 30th birthday, denying the former world number three any celebratory success.
Raducanu's straight-sets victory continues her impressive form in the American capital, where she has progressed through the tournament without dropping a set.

The match witnessed Raducanu recovering from a deficit in the second set, demonstrating resilience to secure the 7-5 victory.
Their rivalry has been entirely one-sided, with the Briton triumphing in all four encounters, including their memorable 2021 US Open semi-final where Raducanu prevailed 6-1, 6-4 en route to her maiden Grand Slam title.

Their most recent clash occurred in Dubai earlier this year, resulting in a 6-4, 6-2 victory for Raducanu.
The previous meeting at Wimbledon 2024 saw another comfortable win for the British player, 6-2, 6-3, underlining her psychological edge over the Greek competitor.
The contest lasted two hours and ten minutes under sweltering conditions in the US capital.
Raducanu recorded seven aces despite encountering serving difficulties, converting five of thirteen break point chances whilst Sakkari managed three from eight opportunities.
"I think it's been building since Miami," Raducanu reflected on her growing confidence.
"I've been doing a lot of good work, and I think little by little, as you get a few results, you build some confidence, it helps."

She acknowledged the challenging conditions suited her opponent's dynamic style.
"Maria played an incredible match, and I think these conditions really suit her with the jumpiness and liveliness of her game," she said. "So, I'm just very happy to have toughed it out."
Raducanu's semi-final opponent will be determined by the match between fourth-seeded Clara Tauson and Anna Kalinskaya.
