Emma Raducanu's injury is 'nothing serious' despite pulling out of the Miami Open this week due to a back problem.
The Brit has suffered another fitness setback after missing much of 2023 due to having surgery on both of her wrists and her ankle.
Raducanu has been stepping up her return to competitive tennis since the start of the year, beginning at the ASB Classic in Auckland.
She then participated at the Australian Open, exiting in the second round, and also suffered early exits at the Abu Dhabi Open and Qatar Open.

Raducanu took a brief break before returning to action at Indian Wells last week.
She made it to the third round before losing to back-to-back Australian Open champion Aryna Sabalenka in straight sets.
Raducanu had been granted a wildcard for the Miami Open this week but it was announced late on Monday that she had withdrawn.
But fears over a long-term issue have been played down by her management team, who say the injury is 'nothing serious'.
Raducanu revealed her disappointment in a statement released by tournament organisers.
She said: "I have been experiencing lower back pain and at this stage of my return to competition I don’t want to risk anything happening.
"I really tried my best to be ready and I’m sad to be pulling out of Miami as it’s a cool tournament, but wish the event all the best."
Raducanu has been named in Great Britain's squad to play France in the qualifying round for this year's Billie Jean King Cup.
However, it remains to be seen if she will be fit to play in the event scheduled for April 12-13.
The injury, despite not being serious, will be a blow to Raduncanu's attempts to get up the world rankings.
She dropped below the top 300 during her injury hiatus last year and now sits in 250th.
Raducanu recently explained the difficulties she faced during her injury-stricken year in 2023.

She told The Tennis Channel: "I had three surgeries within 10 days, which was pretty intense.
"You can’t do anything: you’re not allowed to sweat, you can’t move. I had a scooter, I couldn’t even use crutches because of my wrist surgery.
"It was really difficult. I was swapping – two weeks right in a cast, take that off, in splint, left in cast, in splint.
"It wasn’t necessarily smooth coming back, I had a few setbacks.

"I started training again in December, which is not much time to get ready.
"I know good things and good results will come as long as I can stay healthy and doing the work I am now consistently – day in, day out."
Raducanu has two months to get fit for the second Grand Slam of the year at the French Open, which begins on May 20.
