Tennis legend Chris Evert has shut down dating rumours between Emma Raducanu and Carlos Alcaraz.
The pair of 22-year-olds took to the court together on Tuesday for the US Open mixed doubles but they fell short in their first match against Jack Draper and Jessica Pegula.
Despite the loss, the pair looked to be enjoying themselves out on the Arthur Ashe court as the dating rumours have continued to swirl between the two.

In an interview ahead of the US Open, Evert was asked about the similarities between her and her former partner Jimmy Connors, to which the 18-time Grand Slam winner bluntly replied: “No, because they’re not having a relationship.

“I’m so glad I came up in the ’70s, not in this day and age. Because, I mean, jeez, you’re controversial and talked about no matter what you do."

Raducanu addressed the constant rumours surrounding her personal life in an interview last week.
She revealed: “I guess it comes with the territory, people being so curious.

“I think they’re more curious about this news than any tennis results and tennis news. But I just keep to myself, my private life to one side.
“It’s always funny when people try to find something out, but I try not to read into it so much.”
