The rivalry between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner, already the defining duel of men’s tennis, appears to have taken an unexpected off-court turn following this year’s US Open final.
The two young stars met in a Grand Slam title match for the third consecutive time last week at Flushing Meadows.
In another high-quality encounter, Alcaraz produced a near-flawless display to defeat Sinner 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4, reclaiming the world No 1 ranking and lifting his second US Open crown.
The 22-year-old now boasts six major titles and pocketed $5million in prize money for his latest triumph.
Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner have been dating model Brooks Nader
|Their sequence of finals has defined the 2024 season: Alcaraz fought back from two sets down to beat Sinner at Roland Garros in May before the Italian answered with a dominant run to claim Wimbledon in July.
But while their head-to-head has captured fans’ imaginations, reports suggest that their competition may have extended beyond the court.
According to Page Six, Alcaraz is romantically linked to Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader, who had previously been connected to Sinner.

In a twist reminiscent of Luca Guadagnino’s tennis drama Challengers, the outlet claims that Nader may have been seeing both men at the same time.
Nader has previously denied a relationship with Sinner, joking on Jimmy Kimmel Live! after her sister Grace Ann teased that an athlete whose name “rhymes with winner” had slid into her DMs.
Grace Ann has since appeared to confirm Nader’s link to Alcaraz, telling E! News at a New York Fashion Week event: “The rumours are true. Dating is such a loose term. But I do know he’s the man of the hour.”

Nader was seen courtside for Alcaraz’s match against Arthur Rinderknech earlier in the tournament, cheering him on from the front row.
She has been single since ending her relationship with Dancing with the Stars professional Gleb Savchenko in April.
However, Spanish journalist Alberto Guzmán has disputed the romance reports, citing sources close to Alcaraz.
Speaking on TV show No Somos Nadie, Guzmán said: “They’re not dating, it’s not an official relationship.
"He [Alcaraz] confirmed to those close to him that he is single and has no intention of having any serious relationships. Perhaps she is not well informed.”
Alcaraz has also been linked to British star Emma Raducanu, particularly after the pair teamed up for mixed doubles at the US Open.

Asked about the speculation in June, Raducanu laughed before replying: “We’re just good friends,” as the moderator quickly moved on to another topic.
Whether the off-court intrigue is real or just tabloid noise, the Alcaraz-Sinner rivalry shows no sign of slowing.
Their back-to-back finals have provided some of the sport’s most thrilling matches — and, judging by the attention surrounding them, their personal lives may only add to the drama.
