Ronnie O'Sullivan reached the semi-final of the World Snooker Championship this year

Ronnie O'Sullivan is renowned as snooker's biggest star of all time, and he has made a pretty penny along the way with an estimated fortune of £20 million - mostly through prize money.

The 49-year-old has amassed approximately £14.5 million in prize money throughout his illustrious career.

His journey in professional snooker began when he was just a teenager, establishing him as one of the sport's most successful and wealthy players.

O'Sullivan's financial success mirrors his dominance on the baize over several decades.

His trophy cabinet boasts an impressive 41 ranking titles, including 23 Triple Crown victories.

Despite being largely absent from the 2024/25 season, O'Sullivan enjoyed a lucrative previous year.

The 2023/24 season saw him pocket £1.25 million after winning the Shanghai Masters, UK Championship, the Masters, World Grand Prix and World Masters.

His continued success on the table has significantly contributed to his substantial wealth.

Beyond tournament winnings, O'Sullivan supplements his income through several lucrative sponsorship deals.

He has partnerships with tech firm ROKiT, sports broadcaster Eurosport, and snooker company BCE Riley.

These commercial arrangements provide a steady stream of revenue alongside his competitive earnings.

Such diverse income sources have helped cement his position as one of snooker's wealthiest players.

In 2018, O'Sullivan treated himself to a luxury narrowboat named Morfe Lady Three, mooring it on London's Regent's Canal.

The 60-foot vessel featured a spacious lounge with an indoor fireplace, modern kitchen, and ensuite bedroom.

"I lived on a boat about seven or eight years ago in London and I loved it," O'Sullivan told Eurosport's Matt Smith.

Despite describing it as "no big yacht but it's alright," he sold the boat just a year later for £129,950.

O'Sullivan previously had a long-term relationship with actress Laila Rouass, known for roles in EastEnders, Holby City and Footballers' Wives.

The pair met in 2012 when Rouass viewed O'Sullivan's house while property hunting, with the snooker star later asking her out through the estate agent.

They became engaged after just a year together but experienced an on-off relationship before finally splitting in early 2024.

Following their breakup, Rouass shared reflections on Instagram about using "pain as fuel."

In February 2025, the former couple ruled out any chance of reconciliation by putting their £2 million mansion up for sale.

The property decision came shortly after their final split at the start of 2024.

The sale marked a definitive end to their decade-long relationship that had previously survived an earlier breakup in 2022.

The mansion represented one of O'Sullivan's significant property investments alongside his previous narrowboat purchase.

O'Sullivan is a father of three children from previous relationships.

His first child, Taylor Ann, was born in 1997 with ex-partner Sally Magnus.

He later had two more children, son Ronnie Jr. and daughter Lily, with former partner Jo Langley, with whom he had an eight-year relationship.

In 2018, O'Sullivan became a grandfather at the age of 42 when Taylor-Ann gave birth to a baby girl.
