The duo announced in December that they were no longer together

Snooker legend Ronnie O'Sullivan and actress Laila Rouass have reached an agreement to sell their former east London home for £2million, according to reports.

The property in Woodford Green has been sold subject to contract following their split in December, which came after 12 years together.

The five-bedroom house was placed on the market earlier this year as the former partners sought a clean break following their separation, according to the Mirror.

O'Sullivan, 49, and Rouass, 53, who starred in EastEnders and Footballers' Wives, had jointly purchased the property in June 2018 for £1.35million.

The sale marks the end of their shared assets as both prepare to move forward separately.

The seven-time world snooker champion is now planning to leave the UK and relocate to the Middle East, where he operates a snooker academy.

Following his exit from the World Snooker Championship last month, O'Sullivan revealed his intentions to start afresh abroad.

"There's going to be a few changes in my life. I think I'm going to be moving out of the UK," he said.

"I'm going to start a new life somewhere else. I'll still try to play snooker, but I don't know what the future looks like for me, really."

The property sale represents a significant profit for the couple, who will gain approximately £650,000 from their initial investment.

When pressed about his future in the sport, O'Sullivan remained cryptic about his competitive plans.

"Am I not playing again? I'm not saying anything. I've said it so many times. I'm not saying anything other than I'm moving away soon," he stated.

The father-of-three appeared philosophical about his career priorities, adding: "There's a lot more important things in life to worry about than a game of snooker."

His Middle East snooker academy appears to be a key factor in his relocation plans, though he has not disclosed specific details about when the move will take place or which country will become his new base.

The couple's relationship began in 2012 when Rouass viewed a property O'Sullivan was selling, with the snooker star later asking her out through their mutual estate agent friend.

They became engaged in 2013 but never married, experiencing a turbulent relationship that included a split in February 2022 before reconciling months later.

Following their final separation, Rouass reflected on the experience in an Instagram post, writing: "Break ups can strip you down to your essence. I got through mine by using pain as fuel to take control."

She added: "It doesn't have to be a sad time. It doesn't have to be hard. It can be the beginning of new adventures, new learnings."
