Former Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond's daughter escaped uninjured from a serious collision during the Formula E Evo Series in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, this afternoon.
Izzy Hammond, who is a motorsport journalist and content creator, lost control of her vehicle after her brakes reportedly failed, sending her careening into a concrete barrier.
Despite the violent impact, leaving her car severely damaged, Hammond confirmed she was unharmed, telling her team over the radio: "I'm fine, I'm fine."
The incident occurred during the celebrity-focused racing event, which invites prominent digital creators to experience Formula E machinery firsthand.
