Travis Kelce is likely to propose to Taylor Swift once his football career comes to an end - which could be as early as next year.
According to a source who spoke to the Daily Mail: "Once he is done playing [football], the conversation will be front and center."
The NFL star is currently preparing for another season with the Kansas City Chiefs, suggesting that wedding bells aren't imminent for the high-profile couple, though sources indicate an engagement is inevitable.
Swift's parents, Scott and Andrea, are reportedly eager for Kelce to propose to their daughter.

The source added that both Swift and Kelce view their relationship as long-term.
"Taylor and Travis are treating this relationship as their last relationship," they explained.
Kelce, who is currently training in Florida, may be approaching the end of his NFL career.
According to the Daily Mail, the 35-year-old tight end is treating the upcoming season "as his last."

Friends and family members are reportedly eyeing Super Bowl 2026 as a potential target for both Kelce's retirement and an engagement to Swift.
