Tiger Woods has announced he will be competing at the Genesis Invitational in Los Angeles next week.
The 48-year-old had teased an announcement on social media earlier this week before confirming on Wednesday that he will be a playing host at the tournament.
Woods has played just two tournaments since withdrawing from the Masters after the third round last year.
He finished 18th at the Hero World Challenge in December before ending tied-fifth alongside his son Charlie at the PNC Championship.

Woods underwent ankle surgery after the Masters last April and took almost eight months out of the sport to be back ready to compete.
He said in December that he would attempt to play one tournament per month in 2024 to lessen the load on his body after years of fitness problems.
Woods told the Golf Channel: "Once a month seems reasonable. It gives me a couple of weeks to recover and a week to tune up. Maybe I can get into the rhythm."
The 15-time major champion did not compete in January to leave fans wondering when they will next see him.
But he has now revealed that he will be back on the course in Los Angeles.
It is no surprise that Woods is set to play the Genesis Invitational, as he is a host of the tournament.
He finished tied 45th in the event last year, his first competitive appearance since the 2022 Open Championship.
Woods teased fans on social media on Tuesday, posting a picture with the caption: "The vision remains the same. 2.12.24."
The date he mentioned in the post is the start date of the Genesis Invitational and he has now revealed he will be taking part.
Woods wrote on X: "Excited to be a playing host next week @thegenesisinv."
The tournament's official X account responded by writing: "See you in LA boss."
Fans immediately entered the comments to reveal their excitement at seeing Woods back in action.

Fans are hoping Woods can be victorious in his first tournament of 2024.

Woods revealed after the PNC Championship in December that he will be fine to compete in 2024 but his appearances will be limited.
He said: "I'll be able to walk and play. We've been working out hard, been able to recover. We've been training every day, which is great.
"It's been nice to knock off a lot of the rust and some of the doubt that I've had because quite frankly I haven't hit a shot that counted in a long time."
