Luke Littler's rivals have been warned that the teenage sensation has no weaknesses ahead of the start of the Premier League.
However, British darts player Matthew Edgar claims the youngster still must prove to any doubters that he can perform at the top level on a consistent basis.
Littler will play world champion Luke Humphries in the first round of the Premier League in Cardiff on Thursday.
The long-running tournament will continue for 17 consecutive weeks, with the top four players qualifying for the play-offs at London's O2 Arena on May 23.

Littler has already proven he can compete with the top players in the world, breaking records on his run to the final of the World Darts Championship.
He then won his first senior title in Bahrain before losing in the final of the Dutch Darts Masters against Michael van Gerwen.
Edgar says he believes Littler has what it takes to cope with the rigours of the Premier League.
But the 37-year-old says there are still those within the sport who question that aspect because he's so young.
Speaking on the Love The Darts podcast, Edgar said: "Let's see how he handles it week in, week out.
"Because that's the thing, he's so good but there's question marks as well isn't there? How does he handle it?"
"[There's no question marks] from me, not from me. I'm fully onboard."
Littler became a household name with his performance at Ally Pally but Edgar has known of him for much longer.
And he claims there are no weaknesses in his game that can stop him from succeeding at the highest level.
Edgar added: "I've been fully onboard the Luke Littler train now for well over a year.
"I remember a year ago when he just turned 16 and went to a UK Open qualifier and sort of breezed through that. He went to the UK Open, handled that with no problems.
"Every challenge that has come his way, he's just brushed it aside as if 'Why are you even debating this as a point?'.

"But now he's got a point where he's doing this against the world's elite players.
"He's beating established professionals like they're nothing and it's really exciting to see, to see how he handles it over 17 weeks because I don't see a weakness in his game and I don't see where the problems could possibly lie."
Thursday's opener will see a repeat of the World Championship final, with Littler up against world No 1 Humphries.
Former Premier League champion Glen Durrant hopes the teenager has the right support around him to cope with the tournament.
Durrant told Sky Sports: "I've more got advice for the people around him, he's going to be away from home six days a week.

"But at 16, all I wanted to do was play darts. So I don't fear about the health and wellbeing of a teen travelling around Europe playing Premier League darts.
"But the people around him, his family, his management, they've got a job to do to look after him.
"But he's just got to enjoy it. He's good enough to go and win it! It's scary."
