Dan Evans has revealed Adam Peaty gave Andy Murray a commemorative silver pin badge for competing at five Olympics following his retirement last week.
The tennis icon is a national hero on these shores, having won three Grand Slam titles and two Olympic gold medals throughout his glittering career.
Evans and Murray produced some outstanding performances at the games this summer, captivating the nation in the process.
However, their quest for Olympic gold was ultimately unsuccessful with the duo dumped out of the games by Team USA duo Tommy Paul and Taylor Fritz last week.

Evans, writing for the Daily Mail, has now provided a unique insight.
He says swimming sensation Peaty gifted Murray a commemorative silver pin in honour of the 37-year-old playing at five separate Olympic games over the years.
"I still felt pretty flat at breakfast but Andy was just talking about what we could have done differently in the match," he said.
"You won't meet anyone who loves tennis as much as he does.

"It was a lovely moment and I'm sure the badge will go well with the 60 or 70 others that he's collected over the past week!"
It is currently unclear what Murray will decide to do next.

Evans feels his friend needs some time off, however, insisting he deserves time to spend with his loved ones.
"We had a bit of a heart-to-heart about what's next," he continued.
