Olympic bronze medallist Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix has announced she will not compete at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships in Singapore due to mental blocks in diving.
The 20-year-old daughter of TV personality Fred Sirieix shared the news on social media, saying: "Unfortunately, I won't be attending the World Championships this year in Singapore.
"I've had a tough battle with mental blocks in diving this season, and I've tried to fight through them, but I've decided it would be best for me to take a break from the pool."
The championships are scheduled to take place from 11 July to 3 August.

Spendolini-Sirieix won bronze alongside Lois Toulson in the synchronised 10m platform at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
She had previously made her debut at the Tokyo Olympics, where she finished sixth. At Paris, she competed in both the synchronised and individual 10m platform events.

In the individual event, she missed out on becoming the first British woman to claim two Olympic diving medals in the 10m platform, finishing sixth with a score of 345.50.
This is not the first time mental blocks have affected her career. She previously told Mail Sport she had endured problems similar to the 'twisties' in gymnastics.
Spendolini-Sirieix has been open about her mental health struggles throughout her career.
After her Tokyo Olympics debut, she told the BBC: "Three years ago, I didn't even want to be alive.
"So today I'm just happy that I am alive, that I'm breathing and that I've got my family to support me."
Following her final dive in Paris, she revealed: "I woke up this morning and the first thought that I had was that I am happy I woke up. That's just how it has been for a long time."
She described the period after Tokyo as "a really scary time for myself."

In her announcement, Spendolini-Sirieix acknowledged the support she is receiving: "I am getting all the help I need from my family, my coach and my support team at Aquatics GB and I am so thankful for their love and support."
She added: "As an athlete, the words 'rest' and 'break' are foreign, but I know that this period will greatly help me in the long run."
Her father Fred, who stars in Channel 4's First Dates, has been a constant source of support. He told the BBC: "What I love about my daughter is her positivity."
Spendolini-Sirieix expressed sadness at missing the competition but confidence in her teammates: "I am sad to not be joining my team and international friends out in Singapore, but I know they will do amazingly and I can't wait to see them shine."
